The Board of Directors of MINC is pleased to announce that Mr. Mike Epp, MBA, has been appointed as its new Executive Director, effective May 1, 2018.

Mr. Epp, currently the Chief Operating Officer of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, will be seconded part time to serve in this position.

MINC#NIMC (Medical Identification Number for Canada/Numero d’identification medicale du Canada) is a federally-incorporated not-for-profit corporation (since 2000) whose purpose is to provide nationally-recognized lifetime identifiers for every individual who enters Canada’s medical education or practice systems. It is owned jointly by the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) and the Federation of Medical Regulatory Authorities of Canada FMRAC).

Mr. Epp will replace Mr. John Swiniarski, who served as Executive Director since its inception.
